mrs pete's shed began in 2018 as a unique vision by owners shelly & peter burrows to bring french style to the southern highlands. the bowral store opened with a beautiful offering of fashion and accessories dedicated to showing women how to layer with style and dress with confidence. shelly's passion and love for french fashion and how they style with layering has been the inspiration behind mrs pete's shed.
with a forty year career in the fashion industry as a product buyer and wholesale agent shelly opened her first lifestyle store and family business meshea lifestyle back in 2002. the beautiful store named after her two daughters was open for ten years before making the decision to move to the southern highlands.
shelly & peter are also the owners of saint eloi guest house which features a four bedroom house available for getaways and a couples studio right here in the highlands.
mrs pete's shed brings a unique fashion experience in the beautiful town of bowral with weekend visitors to the store also having an outlet to experience mrs pete's shed at our online store.
"my vision for mrs pete's shed is all about lifestyle dressing. after visiting france I knew I loved the neutral colour palettes and the way the women layered their wardrobe. we have successfully brought this transeasonal concept into our store through colours, styles and layers that all come together".
