Let’s be real—getting dressed should be fun, not frustrating. If your wardrobe’s bursting but you’ve got “nothing to wear,” it’s time for The Wardrobe Cull. At our store, we’re all about layering and effortless style—but first, your wardrobe needs a reset.

Step 1: Prep for the Cull

Block out some kid-free, distraction-free time (wine optional, but recommended). Pull everything out. Yes, everything. Start sorting your current wardrobe by type—tops, pants, dresses—then by colour. Try things on. What makes you feel amazing? What flatters your shape and highlights your best features? Keep those pieces.

Step 2: Sort Like a Stylist

Create three piles and be ruthless:

STORE: Pack away anything out of season. Use vacuum bags to save space and keep clothes fresh.

REPAIR: Got great pieces that need some love? Hem it, crop it, tailor it—make it work. A good dressmaker is your wardrobe’s secret weapon.

DONATE: If you don’t love it, let it go. Pass it on or repurpose it. No guilt—just more space.

Step 3: Style Meets Organisation

Turn your wardrobe into a style station:

Use wooden or felt hangers to keep shapes sharp
Hang scarves and necklaces by colour
Use clip hangers for skirts and trousers
Clear boxes = shoe game on point
Sort bags and hats so they’re easy to grab-and-go

Your wardrobe should work for you, not stress you out. A fresh, organised space makes layering and styling a breeze.
